Toshiba, as a leading supplier of Photocouplers, is offering a wide line-up of Triac Output Photocouplers. Triac couplers, which conduct current in both directions, can be used to control an AC load. They are typically used in solid state relays, motors and lighting systems. Latest products offer higher off-state voltages up to 800V, high impulse noise immunity and, as elsewhere, smaller packages. DIP4 are gradually replacing the widely used DIP6 packages.

Reinforced insulation and JEDEC reflow soldering
The TLP265J and TLP266J triac-output photocouplers provide a peak repetitive off-state voltage of 600V. Housed in the double-molded SO6 package, these photocouplers offer clearance and creepage distances of 5mm, and an isolation voltage of 3750Vrms. Compliant with the JEDEC reflow soldering standard, they are easy to solder onto a printed circuit board.
