PMD Microcontroller for Electronic Power Steering (EPS) Applications: TMPM350FDTFG (Under Development)

The TMPM350 is an automotive microcontroller with a fault supervisor that aids in the system implementation of functional safety

  • ARM Cortex™-M3 CPU core
    • Operating voltages:
      Core = 1.4 to 1.65 V; I/O = 5.0 ± 0.5 V
    • Maximum operating frequency: 88 MHz (110DMIPS)
    • On-chip memory:
      512-KB NANO FLASH™ ROM; 32-KB RAM
  • Advanced Programmable Motor Driver (PMD): 1 unit

  • 10-channel 12-bit AD converter: 2 units
    • Conversion time: 2.7 µs per channel
  • CAN controller (V.2.0B): 2 channels
    • 32 mailboxes
  • Package: LQFP144 (20 mm × 20 mm; 0.5-mm lead pitch)

The new IAR KickStart Kit provides all of the hardware, software and tools to develop an embedded application around Toshiba's new TMPM350FDFTG microcontroller.  This ARM based device has been specifically designed to meet the needs of electric power steering control applications.

M/G Microcontroller for HEV and EV Applications: TMPM354F10TFG (Under Development)

Featuring a one-shot pulse generator and an on-chip resolver-to-digital converter (RDC), the TMPM354F10TFG makes it simple to run an automotive motor at high speed.
