Toshiba has a successful history producing DC motor controller drivers.
As with various other drivers the DC motor controllers and drivers had a huge benefit from new BCD production technology.
The latest drivers can handle several Ampere of current in a tiny SOP package while offering the full protection against overcurrent and overheating.
