Very similar to the DC motor controllers and stepper motor controllers, Toshiba brushless motor
controllers took great benefit from the new leading BCD technology.
In fact the latest ICs feature the true sinus coil current PWM type functionality within the simple
to use controller pre-driver ASSPs.
In combination with Toshiba's unique one chip inverters a high end sinus brushless motor controller can be realised at consumer prices, giving completely new perspectives in all fields and especially in the white goods area.
For the first time silent, highly efficient motor drives come into reach for the consumer
market.
Furthermore sensorless type brushless motor controllers allow silent motor drives without the necessity of expensive hall sensors and related wiring.
