The TC90400XBG/FG family offers powerful and highly integrated
single chip solutions for Set Top Boxes, Integrated Digital TVs,
and combo systems with hard disks and DVDs. The family has
several members to provide the most cost-effective system
solution for both Free-to-Air applications and for Pay TV. A
powerful Graphics Engine provides optimum support for
interactive applications such as Multimedia Home Platform
(MHP) or MHEG-5. The extensive use of Toshiba’s extensible
MeP* (Media embedded Processor) architecture frees the host
CPU from compute-intensive tasks by delivering the processing
power needed in such demanding applications.
